This learning community seeks to bring together a group of about a dozen faculty members and graduate students from diverse disciplines and backgrounds interested in exploring the benefits of mindfulness in higher education. It will particularly appeal to instructors committed to assisting students in their search for meaning and purpose, in attaining greater equanimity, and in fostering the quality of being mindful of one's relationship to others, to one's self and the surrounding world.
If you have any questions, please email the facilitators, Dorothe Bach, Assistant Director, Teaching Resource Center, or John Alexander, Associate Director, SHANTI at mindfulnesstrc@collab.itc.virginia.edu. |
