Understanding Personality for Effective Teaching and Learning

Janet Levine, Director, National Educators Institute, Milton Academy

  • Why is it you fail to connect with some students in your classes?
  • Why in stressful situations such as being challenged about a grade might you find yourself defensive and reactive?
  • You know people learn differently, but how can you accommodate different learning styles?
  • What impact on learning do your colleagues' different teaching styles have?

By using personality analysis, this workshop will give participants a provocative, new paradigm through which to answer these questions and share experiences and insights about teaching. Participants identify their teaching qualities and translate that knowledge into enhanced classroom performance.
