The Inclusive Classroom: The Politics of Credibility

What are some of the issues involved when an instructor commonly perceived as an "outsider" teaches a course? For example, when a non-African American instructor teaches African-American music? A man teaches feminist literature? A Christian teaches Buddhism? Workshop participants will discuss various issues and work together to find solutions.

Co-sponsored by the Women’s Center, the Teaching Resource Center, and the Office of African American Affairs.
