Teaching Critical Thinking II - Advanced Workshop Ed Neal, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill In this advanced workshop, participants will examine in depth several strategies for teaching critical thinking: Teacher-Led Discussions, Case Studies, Problem-Based Learning, and Experiential Learning. We will discuss the learning outcomes associated with each method, the application of the methods in different disciplines, special techniques necessary for their effective use, and ways to evaluate student learning. Co-sponsored by the University Teaching Fellows and the USEMS Program.
