Annual Workshops

August Teaching Workshop: Two-day workshop introducing new faculty and beginning teaching assistants to teaching at UVa; all who teach are invited.

January Teaching Workshop: Half-day workshop emphasizing the basics and exploring the boundaries of teaching.

Intensive, Multi-day Workshops

Course Design Institute: Annual, multi-day workshop where participants design or substantially redesign a course so that it promotes significant, long-term learning.

Teaching Portfolio Workshop: Multi-day workshop covering how to select, analyze, and comment on documents that demonstrate your teaching of your academic discipline.
