Emily Gravett
Graduate Student Associate

Emily GravettEmily Gravett is a Ph.D. candidate in the Religious Studies department, specializing in Religion and Culture. She is interested, specifically, in the intersections among the Bible, literature and other artistic mediums, and feminist studies. After TAing for several semesters, Emily began to teach introductory writing courses on a variety of themes, including "The Art of Suffering" and "Religion and Popular Culture." This past summer, she led an exciting course on "Religion and Film." In addition to more pedagogical pursuits, she also loves ballet, Scrabble, and Mexican food.
