Barnett Wins Award

In recognition for her outstanding service to the University, Marva A. Barnett has received the Elizabeth Zintl Award. As founding Director of the Teaching Resource Center since 1990, Marva has promoted excellence in teaching throughout the University of Virginia and in her own French classes. Initiated in memory of Elizabeth Zintl and her extraordinary leadership and service to the University of Virginia, this award honors women at the University whose high degree of professionalism, creativity, and commitment mirrors Elizabeth's own contributions to the University. Marva is gratified to be recognized for contributions to U.Va.'s academic mission.
