Graduate Teaching Assistant Awards

All-University Graduate Teaching Assistant Awards: Three-year Award Schedule

The 28 Outstanding GTA Teaching Awards available each year are allocated to departments and schools according to U.Va. Office of Institutional Assessment and Studies data about the number of GTAs employed in the recent past. The schedule below defines which departments/schools receive awards in 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11. Note that awards cannot be shifted from one year to the next because the budget allows for only 28 Outstanding GTA Awards each year.

Please use this schedule to plan how you will select your departmental winners and forward their dossiers for consideration for the All-University GTA Awards.
